MCS Coca-Cola has signed a memorandum of understanding to serve as an official partner of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee for four years. The memorandum was signed by L. Myagmarjav, Chief Executive Officer of MCS Coca-Cola, and N. Tuvshinbayar, President of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee.

Under the memorandum, MCS Coca-Cola will act as an “Official Partner” of the MNOC through the end of 2024, covering the Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Under the partnership the parties will draw up an annual plan and run specific programs to promote the Olympic movement. The memorandum also provides for exclusive support with the company’s brand products for meetings, conferences, training courses and public events organized by the MNOC, as well as for the training and competitions of the athletes taking part in the Olympic Games.

The Coca-Cola Company has been an official partner of the International Olympic Committee without interruption for 93 years, since the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, and has remained the most steadfast and loyal partner in advancing Olympism.
MCS Coca-Cola began organizing a wide range of programs and events to support Mongolia’s national Olympic athletes in 2004. Building on that initiative, the company delivered the “Together for Gold” program on a broad scale in connection with the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games, at which Mongolian athletes won gold and silver medals. That achievement not only raised Mongolia’s standing on the world sporting stage but was also the historic moment when the country brought home an Olympic gold medal for the first time.

As a result of MCS Coca-Cola’s continuous and systematic investment in team sports — and in 3x3 basketball in particular — Mongolia earned the right to take part in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in a team sport for the first time.
