5,000 Environmentally Friendly Biodegradable Bags Donated to the Khan Khentii Protected Area

MCS Coca-Cola initiates a wide range of activities as part of its social responsibility. To help reduce environmental pollution, it was the first company in Mongolia to introduce biodegradable waste bags that are harmless to nature and break down easily in the soil. Since 2009 these bags have been distributed free of charge every year to domestic and international visitors traveling in the country’s scenic strictly protected areas of Bogdkhan Mountain, Khan Khentii and Khuvsgul.

By donating environmentally friendly biodegradable bags to the Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area, the company is making a valuable contribution to protecting the environment and improving waste management.
