MCS Coca-Cola Wins the Social Responsibility 2015 Grand Trophy
The traditional “Grand Awards” ceremony, marking the fifth anniversary of Grand magazine, was held at the National Academic Drama Theatre on October 7. Nominated alongside Khan Bank and Monos Group, MCS Coca-Cola was chosen by public vote as the most socially responsible organization and received the Grand trophy.
The traditional “Grand Awards” ceremony, marking the fifth anniversary of Grand magazine, was held at the National Academic Drama Theatre on October 7. Under the motto of supporting social responsibility and spreading humane and compassionate deeds, this ceremony stands apart from other award events in the way it supports and encourages responsibility and humanity. Alongside individual awards, the event also selects a single outstanding business organization. MCS Coca-Cola, Khan Bank and Monos Group were nominated, and MCS Coca-Cola was chosen by public vote as the most socially responsible organization and received the Grand trophy. MCS Coca-Cola regularly carries out the following activities as part of its social responsibility.
- HAPPINESS CENTER — opened in 2012 to help children and young people spend their free time well and to support their development, it has now served more than 60,000 young people.
- To contribute to public health, since 2007 the company has worked with the TLG-13 NGO to run the Sprite Development League, the Sprite Super League and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments on a regular basis, introducing an average of 10,000 to 13,000 children and young people to basketball each year.
- The company works with the Mongolian Football Federation as an official partner of the “Children – Football – Future” program, and supports the athletes representing Mongolia at the pinnacle of world sport, the Olympic Games.
- The company prepared Lunar New Year gifts for 728 elderly residents of Bayanzurkh District and delivered them to the district governor’s office.
- The company worked as a sponsor of the Ganjuur-Danjuur project.
- The company purchased and handed over MNT 3,000,000 worth of products and ten pulse oximeters worth MNT 1,000,000 to the director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases and to its infectious diseases department.
