Earth Hour 2013 Was a Success on March 23

MCS Coca-Cola, a company committed to social responsibility, initiates and runs programs under the motto “Let’s Live Positively”, and works to save energy, reduce greenhouse gases and set an example by using the most efficient and renewable sources of energy.

As part of this, and in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), we called on the public to pay attention to climate change and staged the Earth Hourcampaign in Mongolia for the fourth year, on Saturday March 23, 2013 on Sukhbaatar Square.

The State Palace and the organizations around Sukhbaatar Square joined the campaign by switching off the lights in their buildings for one hour, while more than 9,000 students from over 40 universities and colleges — including MUST, the National Defense University and the Journalism College — came together to create “For the Earth – My Pledge” works and encourage individual participation.

S. Oyun, Minister of Environment and Green Development, and representatives of MCS Coca-Cola also attended in support of the event and called on the public to join Earth Hour.

Join us too, and be part of the campaign to save our planet!
