Environmentally Friendly Biodegradable Bags

Under the motto “Love Our Earth – Let’s Live Positively”, MCS Coca-Cola supplies a year’s worth of waste bags made with nano technology — harmless to nature and quick to break down — to the Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area, the sacred land of the Khan Khentii Mountains and the headwaters of the three rivers, the birthplace of the Great Mongol State and of Chinggis Khaan.

Each biodegradable bag holds up to 5 kg of waste. Domestic and international visitors traveling to the Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area receive one together with their ticket as they pass the Terelj bridge checkpoint, and are asked to collect the waste they generate during their trip in the bag and leave it at a designated central waste point as they leave the protected area.
